Raindrops Keep Fallin on My Head

Painted en plein air during a prolonged rainy Spring season.

Each day walking past the front garden while walking my Silky Terrier had me marvelling at the amount of raindrops each Daffodil

could hold without bending to the ground.

On one particular day, the line from the song came into my head and I couldn't help but smile and think,

I need to paint this heroic specimen.

I love yellow flowers...

tons of rain in Niagara keeping me from being outside painting.

I finally made up my mind to 'go for it'

'Raindrops keep fallin' on my head'
